JOIN US ON
When: Friday, August 14th, 3:30-6pm ET
Where: We will meet at Senator Chuck Schumer office at 780 3rd ave. NY, NY and MARCH to the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in New York 866 2nd Ave, New York, NY

Why: To mark the second anniversary of the Saudi school bus bombing in Saada Yemen, we want to honor the lives of the dozens of children, who were killed by Saudi airstrike. On their behalf, we are coordinating a Global Day of Action for Yemen this August. Six years into the war, Saudi Arabia imprints in Yemen, with tens of thousands dead and millions on the brink of starvation and illness. The horror of which you see in Yemen can be traced back to thousands of Saudi air strikes, which it buys directly from our own government.

On this day, we are calling on the US government to stop its support of weaponry and military intelligence to Saudi Arabia. The U.S continues to play a direct and indirect role in the death of millions, and the destruction of major cities and historical sites. While our government, preaches peace, it continues to support the aggressor. We are calling on Congress to stop the sales of weapons to Saudi Arabia and other aid. Enough is enough.

This is an in person protest. Please wear masks (bring signs) and abide by social distancing rules. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
